This is going to be a good one.

This letter.
Your flight.
My birthday.
A whole year.
Postcards.
Scotland.

If I don’t make it home this summer, don’t bother sending a card.
See a good French film, blow the whole $50, and say hello to the kids.

This is an excellent idea, ladies. You'd make amazingly good ransome note compilers!

Letter poems are all we have.

And we've somehow managed to lose most of them. Have to work on that this week before we don't see each other for a year and a half....

You should say hello more often, Mr. Nameless.

I'm a rotten correspondent. Also, I feel like a ridiculous, creepy old man. A veritable Robocop!

Oh please. Until you start offering to send me a laptop so I can talk to you or calling me your muse, you're pretty safe from Robocop territory. Also, we're 22/23 now -- not 17/18.

You're only a little creepy, and that's just because you say things about ransom notes out of nowhere. Which I'm pretty sure you do on purpose.

The ransom note thing was in light of your cutting up letters to make poems. It triggered an image in my mind of someone cutting phrases / words from newspapers for the purposes of a ransom note.

22 and 23? Where do the years go?

Also, I'm still not happy about being described as creepy. If I had a heart it would bleed.

Haha, I was only joking anyway. Don't get your hypothetical feelings hurt, Billy. I'm only a forumite, after all.

I would love to know where the hell the years are going. Nearly in my mid-20s and I can't seem to stop thinking I'm seventeen....

The problem with the aging process is that the body doesn't ever prod the mind and remind it it's getting older, too. This is especially true for males. We have the tendency to find bodily functions hilarious until death, it seems. And words like 'boobs' or 'anus'. It's a wonder we ever left the cave.

Also, to me, you're more than just a forumite. You're a bloggerist, too.
